Since 1999
We were thinking about the connected home before it was called one.
Electronics2You was founded in Wilmington in 1999, when home networking was still a new idea and most builders had little reason to think about how a home might eventually need to connect.
We did.
From the beginning, we were installing structured cabling and planning homes for technology that was only beginning to emerge. More than 25 years later, the technology has changed dramatically, but our approach hasn't: understand where things are going, choose what genuinely improves the home, and design it correctly from the start.
Technology should fit the home—not the other way around.

On custom homes and major renovations, we often begin working while the project is still drawings—coordinating with the homeowner, builder, architect, designer and electrician.
That early involvement lets us plan the infrastructure correctly, integrate the technology into the architecture, and stay involved through installation, commissioning and move-in.

We believe a sophisticated home should still be easy to live with. That means using proven products, integrating where integration genuinely helps, and avoiding unnecessary layers that add cost and failure points.

We've seen a lot of technology come and go.
When Electronics2You started, home networking wasn't something most residential builders were thinking about. We were already installing structured cabling and planning for clients whose homes needed to be ready for where technology was headed—not just where it was that day.
Since then, we've watched residential technology evolve through multiple generations of networking, audio, video, automation, lighting and streaming. That history gives us perspective on what lasts, what matters, and what genuinely makes a home better.
What has not changed
We still care about the same things that built the company in the first place: doing the work correctly, keeping the installation clean, choosing products we trust, making the system easy to use, and being available when the client needs us again.
